The programming schedule of Radio Maria draws inspiration from the spiritual and moral values of the Gospel and the teachings of the Catholic Church. The core components of the schedule are prayer, evangelization, lifestyles and living. Prayer at Radio Maria includes:
- Holy Mass, broadcast daily from Radio Maria’s chapel and from parishes and religious communities nationwide
- Morning and Evening Prayer
- Holy Rosary
- Divine Mercy Chaplet
- The Angelus
- Traditional prayers
- Devotions
Evangelization refers to the entire wealth of faith and culture of the Catholic Church and includes: proclaiming the essential truths of faith, the systematic explanation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, courses of dogmatic theology, moral theology, apologetics, Holy Scripture, the history of the Church, Mariology, social doctrine of the Church, and pastoral issues, among others.
Lifestyles and living focuses on issues of everyday living, such as family, education, health, legal issues, work, bioethics, respect for creation – drawing inspiration from Christianity and information enlightened by our faith.

Other programming includes:
- News and events from the perspective of our faith, informing listeners about issues and up-coming events – locally and internationally.
- Children’s Corner focusing on the family, encountering the Good Shepherd together, books, competitions, quizzes and music.
- Music to elevate the soul, open our hearts and bring peace of mind into our busy lives.
